James Troy, M.D.

An expert in Dermatopathology, Dr. Troy specializes in complex diagnoses and new diagnostic techniques. He has practiced with Affiliated Dermatologists since 1990. 

He is affiliated with Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Elmbrook Memorial and Columbia St. Mary’s Hospitals and St. Luke’s Medical Center.

He is certified as a Diplomat, American Board of Dermatology; Diplomat, American Board of Internal Medicine; Diplomat, National Board of Medical Examiners; and holds a Certificate of Special competence in Dermatopathology from the American Boards of Dermatology and Pathology. He is widely published in his specialty.

Dr. Troy held a fellowship in Dermatopathology at New York University Medical Center. He rose to Chief Resident, Dermatology, at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, New York City, where he also served his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Troy earned his Medical degree and Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Harvard University.

Married with two daughters, Dr. Troy’s favorite pastimes include golf, tennis and coaching soccer.
