Our intense pulsed light system, or IPL, is a comprehensive, nonsurgical procedure that precisely produces a dramatic effect on the skin. With each pulse, collagen production is stimulated and conditions such as veins, redness, splotches, age spots and wrinkles are reduced. While every individual case is different, many patients see noticeable differences within two to three months, for conditions as varied as Rosacea, hyperpigmentation, spider veins, wrinkles, sun spots, age spots and other skin color disorders. Each IPL treatment will take roughly 25-35 minutes, once every three weeks, with at least five treatments needed for the best possible results.

We are skilled in the latest treatment techniques available for permanent hair reduction. While we can safely and effectively treat all ethnicities and skin types, hair reduction procedures are only beneficial for dark haired individuals. Blonde, red and gray haired people will not respond to hair reduction treatments.
Using a specialized laser that delivers a gentle beam of energy that is passed through the skin to the hair follicle, we can disable follicles that are actively creating hair at the time of treatment, ultimately reducing hair growth. This innovative technology is great for reducing unwanted hair growth on the legs, arms, back, shoulders, underarms, upper lip and bikini area. Depending on the area being treated, sessions may take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
Generally, a series of six to eight treatments will be necessary to achieve the long-term look you desire. We usually space these treatments four to 12 weeks apart. Results vary, but on average, results are noticeable after four to six treatments, with about an 80% reduction in hair growth. Usually, two touch-up treatments are necessary each year to maintain optimum results.
